Help
How neo-fm works, what each plan includes, who owns your songs, and how we keep things safe.
How songs are made
How is a song made?
You describe the song. Our lyric engine writes original sectioned lyrics in the language's own script, a safety check runs, the lyrics are converted to a singing script that helps with pronunciation, and Google's Lyria model renders the sung track. A pronunciation check runs afterwards.
How long does a song take?
Usually a few minutes. Longer songs and busy periods take longer. You can leave the page; the song appears in your library when it is ready.
Are the lyrics original?
Yes. The engine writes new words for every song, and requests to reproduce an existing song's lyrics are declined before anything is generated.
Languages and styles
Which languages are supported?
English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, with lyrics in each language's own script. Quality is not the same in every language; we publish what we measured, and its limits, on the Trust page.
Can I ask for a raga, tala or instruments?
Yes. You can describe the raga, tala, mood, tempo and instruments you want. You can't ask for a real artist's voice or name an artist as the target.
Plans and allowances
What do the plans include?
Free (₹0): 3 songs a month, 30 seconds each. Creator (₹299 a month): up to 15 songs a month, up to 90 seconds each. Pro (₹799 a month): up to 40 songs a month, up to 3 minutes each. Prices are before 18% GST, which is added at checkout ($6.99 and $17.99 outside India).
How are allowances counted?
Allowances reset every month. Longer songs use more of your monthly render budget. Audio rendering also sits behind a global spend cap enforced in the database.
How do payments and cancellation work?
Paid plans renew monthly through Stripe. You can cancel any time from your account and it takes effect at the end of the period. If a fault on our side stops you using a paid period, contact us for a pro-rata refund.
Rights and ownership
Who owns my songs?
You own the briefs you write. Lyrics and music are generated by AI; to the extent any rights exist in them, we give you a licence to use them, including commercially on Pro. AI output can resemble existing works by coincidence, so you are responsible for how you use it.
Who can hear my songs?
Only you, unless you publish a song. Published songs can be public or unlisted, and you can unpublish at any time. Every public song is labelled as AI-generated.
Do you train models on my songs?
We do not use your private songs to train models, and we do not sell personal data.
Safety and takedowns
What does neo-fm refuse to make?
No voice cloning or imitation of real artists, no reproduction of copyrighted lyrics, nothing sexually explicit or involving minors, nothing hateful, nothing that encourages self-harm, and nothing violently extremist. If a brief is declined you keep your words, can edit them and try again. Briefs are checked before generation and lyrics again before audio is rendered; if a check can't run, nothing is generated.
Is the audio labelled as AI?
Yes. According to Google's documentation, audio from its Lyria models carries an inaudible SynthID watermark. Please keep the AI-generated label when you share a track.
How do I report a song or make a complaint?
Use the Report this song link on any public song, or write to support@technektar.com. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours, remove unlawful or infringing content within 36 hours of a valid notice, and resolve other grievances within 15 days.
Can I delete my songs or account?
Yes. You can delete a song or your whole account from your account page. For a copy of your data or other requests, write to us through the Contact page.
