Using neo-fm

You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for your account and for what you create. neo-fm is provided by TechNektar. For help with your account or the app, write to support@technektar.com.

Your songs

You own the briefs you write. Lyrics and music are generated by AI; to the extent rights exist in them, we give you a licence to use them, including commercially on Pro, subject to these terms. Because the output is AI-generated, it may resemble existing works by coincidence; you are responsible for how you use it.

By publishing a song you allow neo-fm to host, stream and display it. Every public song is labelled as AI-generated.

Personal-use licence

On Free and Creator plans we license your songs to you for personal, non-commercial use: listening, gifting, and sharing with the AI label intact. Commercial use (for example monetised videos, ads or resale) needs a Pro plan or a separate written licence. Licences end for content we remove under these terms.

Acceptable use

We keep the rules short. Do not use neo-fm to: imitate a real artist's voice or style as a target; recreate the voice or likeness of a real person, including deepfakes; reproduce copyrighted lyrics; make false factual accusations about, or demean, real people; make content that is hateful, sexual and involves minors, encourages self-harm or is violent-extremist; make songs whose purpose is to campaign for or against a political party or candidate; pass off AI music as human-made or remove its AI label; attempt to bypass our safety checks or limits, or resell access.

Everything else is welcome (see What we refuse), including romance, devotion, protest and satire about public issues, and loving or funny dedications to people you know. Dedications may name people you know; do so only where you are comfortable they would be.

We screen briefs and outputs automatically and may refuse a request, remove content, or suspend an account that breaks these rules. If we refuse something you think is fine, tell us through the Contact page.

AI-generated content

Songs, lyrics, artwork, spoken lines and any video are generated by AI and labelled as such. AI can be wrong or offensive by accident, may resemble existing works by coincidence, and is not advice of any kind. Do not remove or hide the AI label when you share. See our AI disclosure.

Station and Station pass

The station plays AI-generated songs tuned to your taste. The Station pass is a monthly subscription that removes ad breaks and adds a monthly allowance of personal songs; the current price is shown at checkout and may change with notice. While payments are in test mode, no real charge is made.

Sponsored spots

Some free listening may include sponsored or house messages. They are always marked as such, and sponsors do not receive your personal data.

Plans, credits and fair use

Free and paid plans include a monthly allowance of credits; unused credits do not roll over unless the plan says so. One-off gift packs are paid once and do not expire, as shown at checkout. Singers and voices in a song are synthetic and are not modelled on a real person. When you make a gift song for someone, you confirm you may share it with them, and the same rules on real people apply. We may change limits with notice. Abuse of free allowances (multiple accounts, automation) can lead to suspension.

Billing and refunds

Paid plans renew each month or each year (as you chose) through Stripe until cancelled; cancel any time from your account, effective at the end of the period. Payments by card or UPI are processed by Stripe, which emails you a payment receipt, and we email you a GST tax invoice for every payment. Billing questions: billing@technektar.com. If a technical fault on our side prevents you using a paid period, contact us for a pro-rata refund. Prices shown are in Indian rupees before GST; 18% GST is added at checkout for customers in India. Customers elsewhere, including the UK and EU, keep any statutory cancellation and consumer rights. Where neo-fm is offered inside another app (for example Telegram) and you pay there, that platform's payment and refund rules also apply.

Paying from outside India

Where paid plans are offered in your country, the currency and any sales tax, VAT or GST are shown at checkout before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically each period at the price shown until you cancel; you can cancel any time from your account and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

United Kingdom: you have a 14-day right to cancel a digital service. By paying you ask us to start the service immediately and you accept that you lose that right once it has started. This does not affect your other statutory rights, including to a repeat performance or a refund for a service that is not as described or not of satisfactory quality.

United States: the renewal terms above are our automatic-renewal disclosure; we will remind you before a yearly plan renews if your state requires it. Cancel online in your account in the same way you signed up. Some US states give you further cancellation or refund rights, which these terms do not limit.

Australia and New Zealand: our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand). You are entitled to a remedy for a major failure and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss; nothing in these terms limits those guarantees.

Canada: prices are shown in Canadian dollars with any applicable sales tax added at checkout. Quebec residents may use these terms and our notices in French on request; contact us through the Contact page.

Gulf countries: paid plans are not yet offered in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain or Oman; listening is free there. When they open, prices will be shown with any VAT included or added, and your statutory consumer rights will apply.

Takedowns and complaints

If you believe a song infringes your rights, impersonates you or breaks these terms, report it from the song page or write to our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge within 24 hours, resolve within 15 days and act faster on the most serious cases. Details and the Officer's contact are on the Complaints and takedowns page.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. Music generation depends on third-party AI services and may be delayed or unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Bengaluru have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
